Being a Lighthouse Parent in a Lighthouse District
Lighthouse parenting sounds so ideal. Who wouldn’t want to be a parent who consistently allows their children to ride the waves, while providing guidance so they don’t crash into the rocks. However, despite our best intentions we often fall into free-range, snowplow, or helicopter ways. Come discover for yourself what gets in your way of being a “lighthouse parent” and how to develop the skills necessary to be “the beacon of light situated on a stable shoreline helping your children navigate their world.”
