In this workshop, participants will learn the latest research, as well as strategies, that promote these characteristics. The presenter will share activities that are part of her upcoming workbook for teens titled, “The Grit Guide for Teens: A Workbook to Help You Build Perseverance, Self-Control, and a Growth Mindset.”
Helping Students Change
1:45 PM-3:00 PM
Do you work with students who say that they want to change, but despite their interest in changing, engage in the same negative behaviors? We all do! Come here the latest strategies that lead to lasting, positive changes. Strategies that address worry, procrastination, anger, and disorganization will be discussed. An emphasis will be on ACTUAL STRATEGIES that you can use as opposed to simply describing the “problem behavior”.
