Dr. Feldman is a consummate professional.  She cares for each child and knows how to develop a plan that will meet his/her individual needs. Her communication with parents and counselors is outstanding.  She is a motivator, problem solver and outstanding staff trainer.

I am writing to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, encouragement, insight and most valuable contribution to Circle OASIS.

I have been working on developing the curriculum for circle oasis for at least two years.   I contacted professionals all over New York and went as far as Australia.  While all my resources were helpful, none of them gave to this program the knowledge and strength of skill you gave.

It is not only that you are knowledgeable and experienced in the area of cognitive and behavioral psychology, you also know about other areas of psychotherapy, you seem to have an intuitive and deep knowledge of the psyche of New York’s adolescent and middle school children and their culture — you know what works and what doesn’t work, and that is priceless.  Furthermore, you are creative, thorough and more than anything giving, professional and top of your game.

The curriculum that we developed together looks so good now.  I finally can go out with conviction and promote a program that I know will not only benefit the students I will be working with, but also their communities and the world at large.

I hope we wont lose touch, Caren.

I attended your workshop yesterday on “Using CBT Strategies for Treating Stress and Worry in Children and Adolescents” at the Guidance Expo and it was fabulous!  At our building team meeting today I repeated your example of the bank shooter- everyone loved it!  I couldn’t write down everything from the power points fast enough, so would love the slides for my notes.

I loved that you take your time and come and visit us. You made my day. I enjoyed that we got to pet Brandy. She was cute and soft. I am happy you taught us how to let her smell before you pet her because I don’t think my grandmother taught me that. I liked to learn about the S.A.F.E.
